On new beginnings.
Today marks my first day as a director with Covenant Chambers LLC.¹
Some folks who know of my work history² have reacted with surprise, even shock.
"Eh but I always thought you'd be a lifer!"³
Perhaps, one day, I'll share more about my journey thus far, and how it's led me here.
But for now, a big shoutout to:
a) Ee Yang Lee and Ronald JJ Wong, who I'm excited to grow alongside;
b) Yew Fei Lai, Tao Tao, Brendan Tan, Rochelle Lim, and other past colleagues (too many to list), for all the good times⁴ and bad⁵;
c) my clients, for their support and encouragement;
d) my new colleagues, who I look forward to getting to know better and working closely with; and
e) you - for caring enough to read this far.
As to what the future holds -
- the danger of an adventure is worth a thousand days of ease and comfort.⁶
Let's go.

³ If I had a nickel for every time someone said this to me, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
⁴ Which help to keep us going.
⁵ Which we learn from.
